Celebrated the 4th of July with friends from college. Cory Rahe had a barbecue at her place, Shawna, Kaz, and Sabrina came as well. Cory’s husband Tyler was there, her ex-brother-in-law Ralph, and a few other friends of Cory whose names I sadly never managed to learn.
Shawna brought and barbecued a ton of ribs, pre-cooked at her house and deliciously seasoned. They were, to put it simply, amazingly delicious.
She was a bit shy on having her picture taken while cooking. I tried to snag a picture of her but she noticed the camera and turned her back before the shutter clicked.
Was a good way to pass the evening. Good food, good friends, booze on hand, illegal fireworks set off by neighbors, and finally having to run to catch the last bus of the night to get home.
Looking forward to later in the summer and Cory’s future parties as her garden ripens and crops are ready to be eaten.
Good thing I turned my head. My hair looks awesome.
